About Daniel

He is the office’s bird biologist… haha, yes, you read well!

The thing is Dani wanted to work in the travel industry since he was a biology student back in Venezuela. But he is really a Peruvian and loves living in this country where birds are more than abundant and diverse.

This career changer man got in contact with us way back in 2011, when we were just starting to grow as a solid agency, so we offered him eventual small tasks, but not meaning they were less important, and little by little he was gaining responsibilities until becoming content creator (writing and photography), and more recently, the sustainability duties that he most enjoys.

The reality is Dani is always willing to help, no matter what is needed in the office or in the field and sometimes we take advantage of that, so as long as he keeps smiling, everything is fine.

What is your favourite quirk about Peru?

I really have fun when my countrymen ask visitors if they have tasted ceviche, or when Peruvians abroad say they can’t wait to come back because they miss the food. Peruvian are such food lovers!

Why did you want to work for Responsible Travel Peru and why is sustainability important to you?

Respons was referred to me by a biology colleague and immediately after reading what they put on the web I knew it was something very special, as they take sustainability very seriously and with innovation.

What things do you do to make sure your customers have peace of mind and feel safe?

I normally do not get in much contact with customers, but what I do is to put as much information available for them to make sure they can get well informed about their trip.
