We will start with a short introductory course in Cusco art and syncretism (the fusion of Andean and Western culture). Then, we will present to you the history of the Toritos de Pucara (torito means little bull) and their importance to the local traditions, and we will talk about the purpose of the art collective Totemiq.

Each participant will receive a plain Torito de Pucara made of ceramic after which it is your turn to start decorating!

Inspired by history, we will start the workshop in which you will learn to work with different materials and techniques, both traditional and contemporary, using thin metal sheets (copper, bronze and aluminum), acrylics, markers, stencils, etc.

In the end you will have created your own Torito de Pucara which you can take home as a souvenir.
