Bring your photography skills to the next level while roaming the picturesque streets of Ollantaytambo!
To start this tour, meet up with the artists at Ollantaytambo’s Main Square in the Sacred Valley. From here, you will start walking through the landscape setting of this Inca Town. Making our way through the cobbled streets and mystical passages, you can appreciate the Inca architecture.
Throughout the tour, you will be given expert information to improve your photography skills, no matter if you come just with your phone or with your camera. You will learn notions of composition and documentary photographic design, basic rules of photography and how to make use of light, shadow and perspective. Ollantaytambo, with its narrow streets, is the perfect spot to take advantage of light and shadow.
At the end of this tour, we will visit one of the most representative chicherías. The tradition of making chicha (a drink consisting mainly of corn) used to be strongly anchored to the culture of Ollantaytambo. Nowadays, more and more chicherías here are closing, which is why we want to revive this tradition. We will show you the process of preparing this sacred drink of the Incas and talk to you about the history and traditions behind the Andean cuisine of the area. A great way to end all the learning about photography in Ollantaytambo!

Her “Totemiq Experiences” project, is dedicated to creating pieces of contemporary Peruvian art and design linked with concepts of syncretism, and valuing the popular traditional techniques of cusquenian art. She likes to create tourist experiences based on local artistic production, integrating tradition, contemporaneity and living culture.
